Alum Gordana Gehlhausen, from “Project Runway” has been creating some controversy on and off the runway in fashion circles by allegedly  copying designs from celebrity jewelry designer Michaela Kuechenhoff (michadesign.myshopify.com) whom befriended her a year ago.

Micha’s designs have been worn by Jessica Simpson, Fergie, Ashley Greene, Maya, Juliette Lewis, Cheryl Burke, Stephanie Pratt and  Tilla Tequilla to name a few. She lent her jewelry to Gordana for her L.A.  fashion week runway show last year. Micha accompanied Gordana to the L.A show and introduced Gordana to a bunch of her contacts including vendors. Up until she met Micha, Gordana never designed jewlery like her. She liked Micha’s designs so much that she allegedly copied a couple as well as her style.

Micha allegedly confronted Gordana about it and Gordana apologized and said she didn’t think there was competition and wouldn’t make them look like Micha’s. Gordana allegedly even tried to sell some of her copy-cat jewelry to a store Micha had her designs in a couple weeks later. That wasn’t the last of Gordana.

Just recently Gordana had allegedly copied Micha again on a runway show in San Diego.  Many people in San Diego have asked Gordana if she was wearing a Micha design because they are so recognizable and Gordana would reply with, “No it’s my own piece”.

People have been allegedly turning  their back on the copycat designer after learning that she has been allegedly ripping off her collection from Micha.
