Sir Ian Mckellen hosts the 10th anniversary gala charity event for “Only Make Believe” in New York city tonight at the Schubert theater.  Only Make Believe is a non-profit organization that creates and performs interactive theater for children in hospitals and care facilities.

Tonight’s festivities will feature the casts of HAIR, MEMPHIS & THE LION KING, and special appearances by Alan Cumming, Jude Law, Nellie McKay, Chris Meloni & Rachel Weisz.

Thursday November 5th, Ian will be on “The View” in the morning  and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”  at night. Ian is making the media rounds for his upcoming AMC miniseries “The Prisoner.”
