The Killers- Brandon Flowers

The Killers rocked out last night in Irvine. They had one spectacular show filled with fireworks and confetti.

During the first part of the show they stopped in the middle of a song because their lead singer Brandon Flowers saw a big gap in one section of the crowd. He asked what was wrong and found out it was because someone had thrown up! The friend I was with has been to 13 of their concerts and she said they never have stopped during a song. So that was something rare. She said it was probably because they weren’t under a time commitment like some of the other venues they play.

My friend is a big fanatic. She went to see them in Santa Barbara over the weekend, saw them with me in Irvine last night (her 13th show), is going to the Hollywood Bowl tonight, and will see them in Las Vegas over the weekend. She’s seen them so many times but she’s never ever met any of them so I made it a mission to get her to meet them.

After the concert I found a secret path around the venue that led us to their tour buses. No one was down there and we patiently waited. All the other fans got stopped by security in a different area but being me I know all the ins and outs. Security walked by us a few times and thought we were part of the crew. I had to ask her to point out Brandon because I don’t really follow the Killers. She spotted him and I was off. She was too nervous to speak.  Brandon obliged and was very nice taking two photos with her while she stood there in awe and amazement. It was cool. I was happy I could make her dream come true.

We rocked it. No other fans got a photo! They didn’t even know they came out. Tonight they will be playing at the Hollywood Bowl. This weekend they will be in Las Vegas! Check them out. I had an amazing time at their concert.
