So it’s official. After much speculation Taylor Lautner has been confirmed to play Jacob Black in Twilight’s sequal New Moon. Congrats Taylor! Must have been a hectic filled month of waiting. Taylor has reportedly gained 19 lbs of muscle for the role although I still think he has the same baby face.
Even though he’s not who I pictured as Jacob, I’m glad the role is his. He busted his BUTT promoting TWILIGHT, and his employers took full advantage of his youth and enthusiasm during the press tour. So it’s only right that the young man who was SO excited about the role and worked so hard promoting is allowed to reprise it.
And even though I think it’s ridiculous and HOPE they improve upon it in the next film, the Jacob wig Taylor wears DOES age him and I’m sure make-up can help him look not-so-baby faced.
